Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – UAE Executive Leadership Role

We are conducting a retained search in the UAE for a Chief Financial Officer to lead finance operations and support the organisation’s growth strategy and long-term financial strength. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CFO will play an integral role in supporting continued growth, shaping financial strategy and ensuring long-term financial strength and sustainability.

CFO Role: Financial Strategy, Governance and Growth Leadership

As Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee all aspects of the finance function, driving robust financial management and providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making. The role encompasses responsibility for working capital, cash flow and credit management, alongside strong governance, reporting and financial oversight across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Chief Financial Officer, UAE

• Lead all financial operations, with a strong focus on working capital management, cash flow optimisation and credit control
• Oversee inventory accounting, depreciation and asset management in a complex, multi-asset environment
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, forecasting and strategic insight to senior leadership and the board
• Establish and maintain strong financial governance, controls and risk management frameworks
• Partner closely with the C-suite to support strategic planning, performance optimisation and business growth
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, building a high-performance and commercially focused function
• Drive operational efficiency, cost control and financial discipline across the business
• Own financial planning, budgeting and analysis, translating data into clear, actionable insight
• Modernise the finance function through systems implementation, automation and process improvement

• Support the organisation’s growth strategy and competitive positioning in the UAE through strong financial leadership and commercial insight

Chief Financial Officer Profile: Experience and Expertise Required

The ideal candidate will bring senior finance leadership experience within a complex, multi-business environment, with a strong understanding of how a Chief Financial Officer supports growth strategy in the UAE market. You have the relevant experience. Experience in sectors such as retail, consumer goods, real estate, construction, or services will be highly advantageous.

You will demonstrate deep commercial finance expertise, a track record of success in high-growth, profitable organisations and the ability to influence at the board and executive level. Strong leadership capability and the confidence to operate as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership team are essential.
