Chief Compliance Officer

Chief Compliance Officer & MLROLocation: Dubai, UAE (On-site)A well-established and rapidly growing Forex broker is seeking an experienced Chief Compliance Officer & MLRO to lead its regulatory compliance and financial crime function in the UAE.This strategic leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the firm's regulatory framework, managing licensing activities, acting as the primary point of contact with local regulators, and ensuring the business maintains the highest standards of compliance and AML governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's regulatory licensing process and manage relationships with UAE regulatory authorities.
• Develop and maintain the company's compliance and AML framework, including policies, monitoring programmes, and internal controls.
• Act as the appointed Compliance Officer & MLRO, overseeing AML investigations, regulatory reporting, and suspicious transaction reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the business remains compliant with applicable UAE financial regulations.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management and the Board, while supporting internal and external regulatory audits.
• Deliver compliance guidance and AML training across the business.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in Compliance within the financial services industry, including at least 3 years under UAE regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience leading or supporting a regulatory licence application with a UAE financial regulator.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, financial crime compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional compliance qualification (such as CISI or an equivalent certification) is highly desirable.
• Must be based in the UAE and eligible to hold an approved Compliance Officer & MLRO position.
