firstPRO is seeking a Technical Project Manager who will lead cross-functional technology initiatives across the full project lifecycle. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget while balancing structure with agility in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects and position the PMO as a strategic partner to the business.
- Develop and manage project artifacts including project charters, detailed project plans, communication plans, testing plans, and implementation plans.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, risks, issues, and overall quality of deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across development, architecture, QA, infrastructure, security, and support functions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to define deliverables, identify risks, and align outcomes to business objectives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks related to integrations, system performance, data integrity, cybersecurity, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Oversee system implementations, integrations, proofs of concept, and production deployments, including post-launch stabilization, monitoring, and support.
- Manage third-party vendors, software platforms, and implementation partners delivering technical solutions and services.
- Lead technology-related change management efforts to support user adoption, training, and effective utilization of new systems and tools.
- Support the adoption and continued maturation of Agile delivery practices across the organization.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies based on project complexity, business needs, and stakeholder expectations.
- Provide regular project updates, status reporting, and executive-level communication to ensure visibility, alignment, and timely decision-making.
- Travel up to 5% to ACR facilities, as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4–7 years of experience managing technical projects through the full lifecycle across IT, enterprise applications, infrastructure, data, or digital product environments.
- 3–5 years of hands-on exposure to software development, systems integration, infrastructure, or IT operations.
- Experience coordinating technical teams, managing cross-functional dependencies, and delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
- Experience with project management and delivery tools such as Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience leading ERP, WMS, TMS, or other enterprise system implementations.
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or operational environments preferred.
- Strong collaboration, facilitation, communication, and risk management skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- PMP certification preferred or actively in progress.
- Agile certification preferred (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
