Custom Home Project Manager Wanted (Triangle Area)

Established Residential Construction firm in the Triangle area needs a Construction Project Manager to join our team and manage new custom residential single family projects. Experience in new custom home residential sector is a must. Optimal candidates will have a project ownership mindset, supervisory, start-to-finish project management experience, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude.

Responsibilities to include

• Develop schedules and direct the workflow of assigned projects
• Build and maintain positive relationships with trade partners
• Manage subcontractors on assigned projects
• Coordinate and manage deliveries
• Ensure quality craftsmanship
• Coordinate inspections
• Maintain daily logs using web-based construction management system
• Review and work within budgets, review and approve purchase orders
• Assist with take-offs, plan review, and bids for non-contracted work
• Confirmation that all aspects of specifications are covered to make the project successful
• Jobsite safety, appearance, and access control

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in residential construction, custom homes, project management and on-site supervision
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, selections and other project details
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Team oriented and self-motivated
• Quality minded with excellent attention to detail
• Production driven, able to meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks
• Proficient with computers, mobile and web-based platforms

We are not looking for a site superintendent that wants to be a warm body. We want a Project Manager that takes control of and owns every aspect of their project to make it successful.
