Senior C++ Developer (Trading Systems)

We're partnering with a leading proprietary trading firm that's looking to add a Senior C++ Software Engineer to one of the teams responsible for building the core infrastructure behind a global, ultra-low latency trading platform.

This is an opportunity to work on software that's directly in the critical path of live trading, designing systems where every microsecond matters. You'll collaborate closely with hardware engineers, traders, and fellow software engineers to build and optimize the technology that powers real-time trading.

What you'll be working on

• Designing and building ultra-low latency, high-performance C++ systems
• Optimizing production software for maximum throughput and minimal latency
• Developing software that interfaces directly with specialized hardware (FPGAs, ASICs, and custom networking technologies)
• Solving complex performance and scalability challenges across a global trading platform
• Working on greenfield initiatives as well as enhancing critical production infrastructure

What they're looking for

• 5+ years of professional C++ development experience
• Strong background building high-performance, low-latency systems
• Experience working close to hardware, networking, or performance-critical infrastructure
• Excellent systems programming and problem-solving skills
• Trading or financial markets experience is a plus, but not required for candidates with exceptional low-latency engineering backgrounds
