As the IT Manager – Manufacturing Systems Lead, you won't simply maintain existing systems—you'll shape the company's technology strategy, influence key business decisions, and drive operational excellence across the manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex business challenges, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency, scalability, and productivity. You'll serve as the bridge between manufacturing operations and IT, ensuring that technology supports continued growth while optimizing processes across the business.

What You'll Do

• Lead the company's IT infrastructure, manufacturing systems, and overall technology roadmap.
• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Own the day-to-day management of manufacturing technology, network infrastructure, servers, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize manufacturing processes through technology and systems improvements.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new hardware, software, and manufacturing technologies that improve operational efficiency.
• Support ERP, MES, production systems, and integrations across the manufacturing environment.
• Manage IT vendors, software licensing, budgets, and technology investments.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, cybersecurity standards, disaster recovery plans, and system documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues while minimizing downtime across manufacturing operations.
• Lead IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, finance, and operations leaders to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions that create measurable impact.
• Build scalable systems and infrastructure capable of supporting continued company growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Manufacturing industry experience is required.
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, networking, servers, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management.
• Experience supporting production environments where uptime and operational continuity are critical.
• Demonstrated success leading technology projects and driving process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of IT security best practices, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
