The Talent
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Cost Accounting, Business Analytics, Financial Systems, or Finance Transformation roles.
- Experience working in manufacturing, operations-intensive, or complex business environments is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of driving process improvement, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience in project-based or contract roles with the ability to quickly adapt and deliver results.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, Power Query, Pivot Tables, and large dataset management.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics and visualization platforms.
- Experience using ERP and financial systems such as SAP, TM1, Oracle, Hyperion, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and cost management processes.
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot and their application in finance workflows.
- Exposure to automation technologies, workflow optimization, data modelling, or low-code/no-code solutions is highly advantageous.
Job Description
- Finance Automation & Process Transformation
- Identify, develop, and implement automation opportunities across finance processes to eliminate manual work and improve efficiency.
- Redesign and standardize finance workflows, trackers, templates, and reporting processes to improve scalability, governance, and sustainability.
- Automate recurring data preparation, reconciliations, consolidations, and reporting activities using advanced Excel, Power Query, BI tools, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Develop robust controls, validation checks, documentation, and governance frameworks to ensure automation solutions are reliable and sustainable.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to deliver process improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects within defined timelines.
Analytics, Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Design, build, and enhance Power BI or Tableau dashboards that provide actionable business insights and support self-service reporting.
- Transform large, complex datasets into meaningful financial and operational insights.
- Support management reporting, financial performance analysis, variance investigations, and trend analysis.
- Improve data visibility and reporting efficiency through scalable analytical solutions.
AI-Enabled Finance Productivity
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled tools to accelerate data analysis, automate documentation, improve reporting efficiency, and generate management insights.
- Evaluate and implement practical AI use cases that enhance finance productivity while maintaining strong governance and data accuracy standards.
- Promote adoption of digital tools and best practices across finance workflows.
Financial Planning & Analysis Support
- Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial planning processes.
- Assist with cost analysis, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting.
- Prepare financial data, consolidations, management summaries, and business performance narratives.
- Provide ad hoc analytical support for projects, system testing, business cases, and operational improvement initiatives
