Content & Digital Marketing Manager

The Content & Digital Marketing Manager is a creative, strategic, and results-driven marketing professional responsible for planning, creating, and executing content and digital marketing initiatives that elevate Sun Design's brand, generate qualified leads, and engage homeowners throughout their remodeling journey.

This role blends exceptional storytelling with digital marketing expertise to support lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement across multiple channels.

The ideal candidate is an outstanding writer, skilled content creator, and organized project manager who understands how compelling content, SEO/AIO, email marketing, social media, and analytics work together to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Creation
• Develop and manage an annual content strategy and editorial calendar aligned with business goals and seasonal marketing initiatives.
• Create compelling blogs, project stories, case studies, email campaigns, landing pages, downloadable resources, and social media content.
• Interview homeowners, designers, and project teams to transform remodeling projects into engaging stories.
• Ensure all content reflects Sun Design's brand voice, mission, and values.
• Digital Marketing
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns that support lead generation and brand awareness.
• Manage Sun Design's social media strategy, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and performance tracking.
• Optimize written content using SEO/AIO best practices to improve organic visibility.
• Develop email marketing campaigns and automated nurture content through HubSpot.
• Monitor digital marketing performance and recommend improvements based on analytics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote seminars, home tours, client events, and company initiatives.
• Photography, Video & Asset Management
• Coordinate professional photography and videography for completed remodeling projects.
• Organize and maintain Sun Design's digital asset library.
• Select and manage photography and video assets for use across digital and print marketing.
• Work with designers, photographers, and videographers to produce visually compelling marketing materials.
• Brand Management & Storytelling
• Maintain consistency across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
• Highlight Sun Design's unique culture, employee ownership, community involvement, and client experience through engaging storytelling.
• Support public relations opportunities, award submissions, and thought leadership content.
• Marketing Analytics
• Monitor website, email, social media, and campaign performance.
• Analyze marketing metrics and provide recommendations to improve engagement and lead generation.
• Track content performance to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Sales, Design, Leadership, and Business Development to identify content opportunities.
• Support lead-generation initiatives through strategic messaging and campaign development.
• Coordinate marketing communications for company events and community engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.4+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or integrated marketing.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of SEO/AIO, content strategy, and digital marketing best practices.
• Experience managing social media platforms and content calendars.
• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM/email marketing platform.
• Experience with WordPress content management systems.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and marketing performance reporting.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Photography or video production experience is a plus.

Experience in residential remodeling, architecture, construction, interior design, or luxury home services is preferred.
