Work experience: Marketing & Community Building — health tech startup

WellQ is building continuous monitoring infrastructure for clinics, founded by clinicians and a serial tech entrepreneur.

We're looking for a couple of students or recent grads for 4 weeks, part-time (a few hours a day), to help us build and grow an online community that will feed real users into our product and help shape our dataset.

This is real work, not a simulated project. In the first week, you'll identify 3-5 online communities where our target users already gather, map what they care about, and pitch us a content and engagement plan. From there, you'll help build out that presence and drive real sign-ups.

You'll be joining a small team of other students already working on different projects across the company, so you'll get real exposure to how the wider business runs, not just your own workstream.

You'll get an honest look at what running an early-stage company actually involves, and a genuine, measurable piece of work to point to. On completion, we'll write you a reference, and we're happy to share our network for relevant introductions where useful.

Unpaid. Flexible on hours, in-person, remote, or a mix. Immediate start.

Open to students studying marketing, communications, business, digital media, or similar — initiative and genuine interest in community building matter more to us than your degree.
