Audit Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in audit engagements, reviewing financial records, preparing audit documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of audit assignments in accordance with professional standards.
• Perform audit procedures, including examination of financial records, transactions, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers and proper audit documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients for collecting necessary information and supporting documents.
• Communicate audit findings and observations with senior team members.
• Support the team in delivering high-quality audit services within deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field with a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in audit or accounting, preferably with experience in UAE or India-based audit firms.
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, IFRS, and financial reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience in conducting audit assignments, preparing audit working papers, financial statements, and audit documentation.
• Ability to analyze financial records, identify discrepancies, and assist in preparing accurate audit reports.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting practices, corporate tax regulations, and compliance requirements will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and accounting/audit software.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional audit team.
