Pixel Systems
We are currently helping a leading French conglomerate expand its digital operations. As they move away from manual processes and towards more integrated systems, we need extra help documenting these workflows and turning them into clear instructions for our developers. This is where you come in. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will help us bridge the gap between complex business needs and clean, working software.
This is a fully remote position that focuses on practical problem solving rather than chasing the latest industry trends. About Pixel Systems Pixel Systems is a small, remote software agency that builds the tools teams actually use to get their work done. We do not build flashy consumer apps or marketing sites.
Instead, we focus on the practical stuff: admin panels, CRM integrations, and the database migrations that most people try to avoid. Our clients come to us when they need to replace a sprawling spreadsheet with a real database or get their different software tools to finally talk to one another. We believe that working code is better than a perfect plan that never ships. Our approach is straightforward.
We provide fixed quotes before we start, we do weekly demos, and we hand over everything when we are finished, including the code, the documentation, and walkthrough videos. We use reliable, well tested technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we want the software we build to be stable and easy to maintain. We are a team of professionals who prefer solving real operational headaches over hype.
In this role, you will be learning how to translate business problems into technical requirements. You will work closely with our developers to make sure they understand what the client actually needs. Because we are a remote shop, clear communication is everything. You will spend your time mapping out how data moves between different systems and figuring out how to simplify tasks for the people using our software.
Much of the work involves talking to people who work in logistics or operations and understanding their daily pain points. You might spend one day helping to plan a database migration and the next day writing user stories for a new internal dashboard. This is a paid internship, and the compensation is competitive for the role and the current market.
A logical mindset and a genuine interest in how businesses operate. The ability to write clearly and explain complex ideas in plain English. Someone who is organized and keeps track of small details without getting overwhelmed. Comfortable working in a fully remote environment where you manage your own time. A basic understanding of how software is built, even if you aren't a coder yourself.
The ability to ask good questions when you do not understand something. A preference for creating useful tools over building something just for looks. Consistency and reliability in everyday tasks. Helpful background Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets or Excel to organize data. A basic understanding of what an API is and why it matters. Exposure to SQL or a general curiosity about how databases work.
Experience using project management tools like GitHub or Trello. Studies in business, informatics, or a related field that requires analytical thinking. Previous experience in a customer facing or administrative role.
Pixel Systems Working here is different from a typical corporate job. We have a flat structure with no layers of middle management. We value honesty and directness. If a client asks for something that we know won't work, we tell them. We want to ship software that actually helps people, like warehouse managers or operations teams, do their jobs more easily.
Since we are 100 percent remote, we do not care where you are located. We care about the quality of your work and your ability to stay in touch with the team. We do weekly demos to show our progress and keep everyone on the same page. You will get to see every part of the software development lifecycle, from the first client meeting to the final hand-off. We pride ourselves on being a no drama workplace.
We focus on the work, we solve the problems that arise, and we treat each other with respect. This internship is a chance to see how a small, efficient agency operates and to contribute to projects that have a direct impact on our clients operations.
