About the role

As an Associate Insights Analyst, you'll work alongside experienced analysts and business stakeholders to deliver insights that help identify and remediate customer impacts.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and turning information into meaningful business insights. You'll gain exposure to complex datasets, customer-focused projects and opportunities to further develop your analytical skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.

In This Role, You WillPerform analysis to help answer business questions and support remediation outcomes.

Access, interrogate and summarise data to identify key trends relating to customers, products and processes.

Deliver accurate, high-quality insights that inform decision-making.

Collaborate with analytics users, data experts and stakeholders to ensure insights add value.

Translate analytical findings into actionable business insights.

Contribute to the planning and delivery of remediation projects.

Work within established technical standards, policies and governance frameworks.

Continuously grow your capability through new tools, techniques and learning opportunities. The purpose of this role is to support the analysis and delivery of data that enables ASB to repay customers where mistakes have occurred in the past, contributing to remediation outcomes that matter.Ō pūkenga |

About you

We're looking for someone with a passion for data, a curious mindset and a desire to learn.

You'll BringExperience using SQL or other analytical tools to extract and analyse data.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ability to interpret results and apply analytical techniques to generate meaningful insights.A high level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The confidence to present findings and explain insights to a variety of audiences.A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others.

The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes on time.A customer-focused mindset and a drive to improve outcomes. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, challenging the status quo and finding better ways of working.
