Moody's Analyst

We are looking for a commercial lending consultant to support a Financial Services client in Los Angeles, California.

This Contract position is ideal for a candidate with strong attention to detail who has prior experience with loan documentation (commercial, C&I), loan closing and a history of working across departments including legal, credit and underwriting. contribute to credit analysis activities tied to a Moody’s implementation initiative.

The role calls for strong analytical judgment, familiarity with loan documentation, and the ability to work effectively within complex financial reporting environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and related records to support accurate credit and financial assessments.
• Evaluate key performance indicators, including financial ratios and loan covenant measures, to help inform lending and risk-related decisions.
• Review loan agreements and other lending documentation to identify terms, obligations, and reporting considerations.
• Provide subject matter support for activities connected to the Moody’s CreditLens implementation project.
• Partner with finance and project stakeholders to ensure data interpretations align with business and reporting needs.
• Apply accounting knowledge to validate financial information used in analysis, reporting, and system-related workflows.
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial reporting outputs, ensuring consistency and accuracy across deliverables.
