Senior Financial Analyst, International

This Senior Financial Analyst is an individual contributor responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager in accurate and timely financial statements for the Europe Distribution Center.

Responsibilities would include reconciling sales, collaborating with cross-functional partners and facilitating communication with the 3rd Party DC provider to ensure outbound operations are captured accurately and timely, preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation schedules, supporting quarterly controls and reserves, and assisting the Accounting Manager with analyzing material fluctuations in corporate reporting and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reporting.

Responsible for compliance with GAAP and adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls.

Your Impact

• Prepare select journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation schedules
• Support cross-functional communication related to sales
• Analyze inventory variances between multiple systems
• Communicate discrepancy findings concisely and facilitate solution-driven conversations when needed
• Prepare quarterly controls and reserves
• Partner with other divisions to ensure proper reporting and analysis of expenses and appropriate intercompany accounting
• Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and adherence to internal controls
• Partner with other departments on Financial Reporting inquiries
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as requested
• Identify areas of improvement and execute plans for implementation of process improvements

• Minimum Salary: $86,800.00Maximum Salary: $117,600.00VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown.

Qualifications

• Your Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred3-5 years accounting experience
• SAP experience preferred
• PC skill proficiency including Excel and Access
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
• Dedicated willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Maintain confidentiality
• Execute sound judgment in general accounting matters
