Role Description

The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for managing and growing business gifting and wholesale accounts, including prospecting new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and identifying opportunities to increase order volume and product adoption.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach via phone and email, preparing and presenting product proposals, coordinating customized gifting solutions, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and inquiries. The Account Executive collaborates closely with internal teams such as operations and merchandising to ensure accurate order fulfillment, high-quality presentation, and a seamless client experience.

The role also involves tracking sales performance, maintaining detailed account records, and contributing feedback to improve offerings and processes.

Qualifications

• Client relationship and sales skills: Experience building and maintaining business client relationships, managing accounts, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Communication and presentation skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including presenting product solutions and responding clearly to client inquiries.
• Organization and coordination skills: Ability to manage multiple accounts, track orders and follow-ups, and coordinate details between clients and internal teams.
• Customer service orientation: Demonstrated commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Business acumen: Understanding of B2B sales, business gifting, or wholesale environments; experience in food, gifting, or consumer products is beneficial.
• Technical proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools, email, spreadsheets, and basic office software to manage leads, accounts, and reporting.

Education and experience

Previous experience in account management, sales, or business development; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.

Personal attributes: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work collaboratively on-site, and motivated by building long-term client partnerships.
