National Sales Manager

We’re supporting a confidential search for an experienced National Sales Manager to join a well-established organization within the transportation and logistics sector.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys winning new business, building long-term customer relationships, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role

In this position, you will be responsible for driving new business activity, developing prospect pipelines, and converting opportunities into long-term customer relationships. You’ll work closely with internal teams to support growth, manage sales activity, and help increase revenue from new accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers
• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline
• Lead sales conversations, proposals, presentations, and follow-up activity
• Convert prospects into new business and grow account value over time
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support customer growth
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and service throughout the sales process

About you

We’re looking for someone with

• At least 3 years’ experience in non-asset-based 3PL sales
• A background in Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, and/or LTL freight
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• A proactive, resilient, and self-motivated approach
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Good commercial awareness and confidence engaging new customers
• Strong computer and technology skills
• A Bachelor’s degree
