The opportunity

Our client, a long-established, privately held fleet management and leasing company, is expanding in one of the largest fleet markets in the country and adding a strategic sales seat to own it. This is a hunter role with a consultative core, roughly 60% new business and 40% growing and protecting your accounts.

Founded decades ago, the company positions itself as the boutique alternative to the post-merger giants, which means senior-level access, real service, and a story you can actually sell.

Territory

• Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
• Austin, Texas & North
• Focusing on primarily DFW, AUS, Arkansas, Oklahoma & Missouri

What You'll Own

Sign new business. This is the engine of the role and where the money is.

Run a consultative, relationship-led sale across 6 to 12 month cycles with multiple stakeholders.

Grow and retain an assigned book over time, acting as your clients' fleet advisor and adding services as their needs evolve.

Sell the full platform. Leasing and fleet programs are the foundation, the technology layer (telematics, connected-vehicle data, and driver safety tools) is the differentiator that wins and keeps accounts.

Tap corporate and back-office support across dotted-line functions to deliver for your clients.

What You Bring

7 to 15 years of B2B sales success, ideally in fleet leasing, fleet management, or a fleet-adjacent industry such as commercial rental, telematics, fuel, commercial auto, or equipment finance.

Strong business acumen and a consultative, non-transactional mindset.

Sharp discovery and questioning skills. You listen and diagnose before you pitch.

The patience and discipline to carry long cycles without losing momentum.

Coachability on the technical side.
