This is a confidential search on behalf of an established, fast-growing roofing and storm restoration company in the Dallas–Fort Worth market. The company runs a structured, pod-based sales organization — team leaders managing squads of Project Managers — with dedicated admin support, a full back office, and an aggressive long-range growth plan that includes service diversification and a path past $50M in revenue.

This is not a caretaker role. You will report directly to the Owner/CEO and own the growth, performance, and culture of the entire sales department — leading through your team leaders, not around them.

What You Will Own

• The number: $12M+ in annual sales revenue, driven through direct leadership of your team leaders
• The team: Grow the department to 14 fully trained, producing Project Managers — hiring and onboarding 8+ per year with 75%+ retention past 90 days (daily recruiting is part of the job)
• The talent engine: Run 2 formal sales training classes per year with an 80% graduation-to-production rate
• The standards: 80% of team leaders hitting quarterly production targets, a 38+ square average per insurance project, and a 70%+ customer review collection rate

How You Will Operate

• Coach relentlessly — weekly structured 1:1s with every team leader, daily touchpoints, and 2–3 field ride-alongs per week to stay close to the doors
• Run the rhythm — monthly sales department meetings, weekly team alignment meetings, and a pipeline cadence (knocks, follow-ups, closings) that gets enforced, not suggested
• Manage by data — own CRM integrity (AccuLynx, Spotio), audit pipelines for real deals instead of hope deals, and make decisions from the numbers
• Drive engagement — quarterly sales contests, public recognition, and daily reinforcement of a culture of accountability
• Partner with marketing on lead flow and field marketing strategy

The split is roughly 70% strategic, 30% tactical. A dedicated Sales Admin removes most of the administrative load so you stay focused on coaching, riding, hiring, and training.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably in roofing, restoration, or home services
• Proven track record managing teams to $10M+ in annual sales
• Proficiency with CRM tools (AccuLynx strongly preferred)
• Ability to model door-to-door sales excellence when needed — you can still do the job you coach
• Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills; high EQ and conflict resolution ability
• Ownership mentality — no passing the buck; high standards for yourself and your team
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required with proven success
• Fluent in Spanish
• HAAG Certified and/or Xactimate proficient
• Multi-trade selling experience (roofing, siding, windows, gutters)
• Experience managing a multi-team or multi-pod sales structure
