TriPax Resources has partnered with a rapidly growing leader in the heavy-duty diesel engine parts industry to identify an experienced Territory Sales Manager to develop and grow a multi-state sales territory.

This is not an account management position.

We're looking for a true business development professional who enjoys prospecting, opening new doors, building long-term customer relationships, and winning market share.

About the Opportunity

As the Territory Sales Manager, you'll serve as the face of the company throughout your assigned region, developing relationships with:

• Heavy-duty truck fleets
• Independent repair facilities
• Diesel engine rebuilders
• OEM dealers
• Parts distributors
• Industrial equipment customers

You'll leverage your technical knowledge and consultative sales approach to help customers maximize equipment performance, reliability, and uptime while expanding the company's market presence.

Once new business is established, you'll partner with an experienced Inside Sales team to support daily account execution, allowing you to stay focused on what you do best—growing the territory.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan
• Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities
• Generate new revenue across fleets, dealers, distributors, repair facilities, and engine rebuilders
• Conduct regular customer visits throughout your territory
• Present technical product solutions and commercial value to key decision-makers
• Build lasting customer relationships through consultative selling
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate CRM activity
• Coordinate customer onboarding and ensure a seamless transition to Inside Sales
• Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and product feedback
• Monitor territory performance, conversion rates, and product placement opportunities
• Represent the company professionally at customer locations, trade events, and industry functions
• Travel approximately 50% throughout the assigned territory

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a disciplined sales hunter with strong technical credibility and a passion for building customer relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience
• Proven track record selling diesel engine parts or heavy-duty truck components
• Experience selling into fleets, repair facilities, OEM dealers, distributors, or engine rebuilders
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and applications
• Demonstrated success prospecting and closing new business
• Experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus)
• Self-motivated with excellent territory management skills
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory
