About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Native Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of Cloud Native and Portworx engagements across APJ.

This is a hands-on project leadership position requiring strong technical understanding of cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, containers and modern software delivery practices. You will manage regional enterprise projects from customer kickoff and solution design through deployment, go-live and closure.

You will collaborate with Cloud Native Architects, DevOps Engineers, Systems Engineers, enterprise customers and Certified Delivery Partners across ASEAN, Greater China, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand and India.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of Cloud Native and Portworx projects, including Portworx Enterprise, PX-Backup, Portworx Disaster Recovery, health checks and KubeVirt-based modern virtualisation deployments.
• Lead project kickoff, discovery, design, planning, implementation, testing, go-live and project closure activities.
• Work closely with Technical Design Architects, Cloud Native Architects and DevOps Engineers to ensure successful delivery.
• Apply Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, retrospectives and iterative releases.
• Facilitate design-thinking workshops and collaborative development sessions involving internal engineers, delivery partners and customer technical teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, governance structures and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate multi-vendor delivery teams involving internal specialists, Certified Delivery Partners, system integrators, cloud platform teams and customer stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, escalating critical matters through the appropriate governance channels.
• Track and report project health, resource utilisation, milestones and delivery performance using project management platforms such as KeyedIn and ServiceNow.
• Provide clear project updates and executive-level reporting to customers and regional leadership.
• Translate technical progress, dependencies and risks into clear business outcomes for stakeholders.
• Support the development of regional Cloud Native delivery templates, standards, methodologies and playbooks.
• Guide delivery partners on project governance, delivery methodology and certification readiness.
• Support customer engagements across APJ and travel regionally when required.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in project or programme management, with a strong record of delivering complex technology projects for enterprise customers.
• At least 10 years of experience managing cloud, software development or SDLC-based projects using Agile methodologies.
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud and cloud-native technologies, including containers, Kubernetes and modern application platforms.
• Experience delivering projects involving OpenShift, Portworx, Kubernetes storage, cloud platforms or comparable cloud-native technologies.
• Proven ability to manage multi-country, multi-vendor and multi-stakeholder delivery environments.
• Strong experience in project planning, governance, risk and issue management, change control and executive reporting.
• Good understanding of design-thinking methodologies and collaborative or paired development practices.
• Excellent communication, customer engagement and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to work effectively across different cultures and countries.
• Willingness to travel within APJ when required.
• Comfortable working primarily from the Singapore office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certification at Associate Architect level or equivalent, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
• Red Hat or OpenShift certification.
• Agile certification such as PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, Professional Scrum Master or SAFe Agilist.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent formal project-management certification.
• Direct experience delivering Portworx, OpenShift, Kubernetes, application-modernisation or cloud-platform projects.
