Project Executive

A leading general contractor in Seattle is seeking an experienced Project Executive to provide senior leadership across complex commercial construction projects in the Pacific Northwest. Position Overview

The Project Executive will provide leadership and oversight across project management, construction operations, client engagement, financial performance, and team development. This individual will act as a senior point of contact for clients, project teams, subcontractors, and internal leadership, ensuring projects are properly staffed, planned, executed, and delivered successfully.

This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Project Manager, Project Director, or existing Project Executive who is ready to take on a broader leadership role with long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight across multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead and support project teams, including Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and administrative staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, follow-up, and successful project delivery.
• Partner with estimating, purchasing, preconstruction, and operations teams to support project planning, budgeting, and profitability.
• Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, change management, cost controls, and overall project health.
• Support contract reviews, risk management, project planning, procurement strategy, and subcontractor negotiations.
• Promote strong subcontractor and vendor relationships through fair, professional, and collaborative communication.
• Ensure projects are executed in alignment with company standards, safety expectations, quality requirements, and client goals.
• Provide leadership during project challenges, helping teams resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Mentor and develop project staff by setting expectations, providing feedback, and supporting career growth.
• Identify opportunities for repeat work, client expansion, and new business development.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and community partners.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is:$215,000 – $250,000, dependent on experienceCompensation will be based on project background, leadership experience, market relationships, and overall fit for the role.
