Residential Home Builder/Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Utilize construction management software such as Prolog, Primavera, and ProCore for project tracking and reporting.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using effective project scheduling techniques.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare construction estimates and manage contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
• Review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project plans.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process, implementing solutions promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential construction management or a related field is required.
• Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid is preferred.
• Proficiency in using construction management software including Bluebeam for document management.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Knowledge of contracts and legal requirements related to residential construction projects is beneficial.
