About the Program

The BBVA CIB NEW GENERATION PROGRAM 2026 is seeking recent graduates eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the world of finance. Join us to drive business success while committing to sustainability and global transformation.

Program Highlights

• Rotational Experience: You will rotate through key areas and roles, gaining hands-on experience and embarking on a journey of personal and professional development alongside top finance professionals.
• Global Experience: The program offers the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from around the world, providing a global perspective and exposure to international markets and cross-border business.
• International rotation: Based on performance and business requirements, an international rotation may be offered during the program.
• Duration: The program lasts 12 months, starting with an immersive onboarding experience to provide a global understanding of the CIB environment.
• Post-Program Role : Upon completing the rotational year, you will transition into a permanent role within a specific CIB team that aligns with BBVA's business needs, your skillset, and your career goals.

Potential Areas of rotation (based on Business needs and candidate preference):

• Global Transaction Banking (GTB) : Focus on global payments, collections, and liquidity management, providing clients with optimal solutions to streamline cross-border financial operations.
• Global Risk Management (GRM): Global Risk Management is the CIB Risk unit, responsible for the approval, measurement, and control of the unit’s risks, encompassing both market risks and credit risks.
• Global Markets (GM): Collaborate with specialists to structure, originate, and distribute financial products, helping clients manage risk profiles and adapt to dynamic global markets.
• Bankers and Industry Specialists (SIX): Work alongside industry experts to offer tailored services and strategic support, efficiently addressing clients' unique business requirements within key sectors.
• Global Institutional Business (GIB): Global Institutional Business drives BBVA’s Corporate & Investment Banking business with institutional clients: including Banks, Wealth & Asset Managers, Insurance, Public Sector, and Financial Sponsors. The unit is built on two pillars: end-to-end product development and an expert coverage model. This approach ensures high-level specialization and a transformed commercial process to deliver bespoke solutions to global institutional partners.
• Investment Banking and Finance (IB&F): Engage with experts in investment banking, delivering long-term financing solutions and strategic advisory services to major global corporations and institutions.

We are looking for dynamic individuals who possess the following essential skills and qualifications:

Academic & Experience

• Recent graduates or students nearing completion of a Bachelor’s degree, with an outstanding academic record.

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in English
• Additional languages are a plus.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.

In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
