Job Type: Contract (12+ Months, Potential for Permanent Conversion)

Pay Rate: $65.00 – $85.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Start Date: August 2026

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – Digital Services to join a high-impact Digital Customer Experience team. This role will support a major digital transformation initiative focused on redesigning and modernizing customer-facing digital platforms, including web, mobile, and application experiences.

The ideal candidate is passionate about Agile product delivery, customer experience, and digital innovation while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for Agile development teams.
• Translate business requirements into Epics and User Stories.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX, development, and QA teams to deliver digital products.
• Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, risks, issues, and project status.
• Manage multiple Agile Pods from both business and project leadership perspectives.
• Ensure transparency using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile tools.
• Support digital customer experience initiatives across web, mobile, and applications.
• Develop project plans, resource schedules, and reporting documentation.
• Conduct business analysis, process improvements, testing, and user acceptance activities.
• Research industry trends and recommend digital best practices.
• Drive governance improvements and continuous process optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years of Product Owner or Agile Project Management experience.
• Proven experience managing Agile product development teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience creating User Stories, Epics, Product Backlogs, and Sprint Planning.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile management tools.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.
• Experience supporting digital customer experience initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Utilities, Telecommunications, or other digital customer service industries.
• SAFe Agile experience.
• Vendor Management experience.
• Knowledge of Web Accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations and documentation.
• Knowledge of Customer Operations and digital business processes.
• Experience with regulatory or enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule (Minimum 3 days onsite each week)
