We're working with a leading public health division dedicated to preventing chronic diseases and injuries, seeking to enhance their digital presence and community engagement.
Build and secure the back-end of a high-impact WordPress site. Develop and maintain WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Implement solutions that adhere to security and accessibility best practices (WCAG AA standards). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet design, content, and UX standards.
Partner with non-technical stakeholders to evaluate and implement new website features. Perform ongoing website maintenance, including core, theme, and plugin updates.
Three or more years of experience in systems analysis, programming, and design. Extensive coding knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Strong understanding of design and accessibility principles. Familiarity with performance, scalability, security, and testing applications. Excellent communication skills to articulate technical details to general audiences.
A collaborative and relationship-building approach to teamwork.
