IT Operations Manager - team of 10 - Direct Hire

Motion, A Kelly company is supporting a 200-employee government contracting organization in their search for an experienced IT Operations Manager. This position offers the opportunity to influence technology strategy, improve operational efficiency, and guide the evolution of critical systems that support business growth.

About the Role

This role involves leading the administration, IT vendor management, IT planning and enhancement strategy, and long-term roadmap of enterprise business applications and supporting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, enhancement, and long-term roadmap of enterprise business applications and supporting technologies
• Manage and mentor technical staff responsible for application development, integrations, databases, and business systems support
• Oversee Microsoft-based business platforms, including ERP and data management environments
• Oversee integration initiatives involving EDI, B2B transactions, customer and supplier connectivity, and automated data exchange processes
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver technology solutions that improve operational performance
• Ensure business continuity
• Manage system enhancements and modernization projects
• Lead vendor relationships, project delivery, budgeting, and resource planning activities
• Develop technology standards, governance processes, and best practices across systems, applications and integrations
• Support strategic initiatives involving digital transformation, automation, reporting, and business process optimization

Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise applications, software development teams, or business systems environments
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Dynamics 365 and SQL Server
• Experience managing development of EDI and B2B integration
• Knowledge of cloud environments and application development
• Experience with enterprise data integration, and transaction processing
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience leading projects, managing priorities, and delivering complex technical solutions

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Dynamics 365 and SQL Server
• Experience supporting EDI and B2B integration environments utilizing technologies such as Biz
• Talk, Cleo, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of application development using C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies
• PMP/PMIPeople Leadership
