About the Role

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, data accuracy, banking relationships, property tax tracking, and internal financial processes for the division.

This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. The position offers strong visibility across the business and could grow into a management-level opportunity in a short period of time.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Analyze financial reports, internal reports, variances, and trends to help identify key insights and recommend actions to management.
• Data Management & Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile divisional data, ensuring information is entered accurately, verified properly, and consistently aligned with internal reporting needs.
• Accounts Payable Support: Work closely with accounts payable to help ensure timely and accurate payment of bills and vendor obligations.
• Banking & Cash Reporting: Manage and assist with banking relationships, reporting requirements, and related financial documentation.
• Property Tax Tracking: Maintain property tax accounts, projections, payments, and reconciliations to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Policies & Procedures: Assist with establishing, maintaining, and enforcing financial policies and procedures across the division.
• Confidentiality & Accuracy: Protect company operations by maintaining confidentiality around financial information and ensuring financial data is handled with accuracy and discretion.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis, accounting, reporting, or related finance functions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and communicate key findings.
• High attention to detail and strong ability to manage, reconcile, and verify data.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Prior experience in homebuilding, real estate development, construction, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel, reporting, and financial systems experience preferred.
