Compensation

$95,000–$115,000 base salary + bonus potential + equityOur client is a rapidly growing healthcare technology company seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding Accounting & Finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the CFO in a highly visible role that offers strong career growth, broad exposure, and the chance to help build scalable accounting processes within a high-growth organization.

The company is privately held with both family ownership and private equity backing, generates more than $40M in annual revenue, and employs approximately 150 people nationwide. The Accounting & Finance team is currently six people strong and continuing to grow.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the company's financial reporting while supporting the continued growth of the business. This individual will be responsible for core accounting functions including general ledger management, month-end close, financial reporting, audit readiness, and technical accounting support.

The ideal candidate is motivated, solutions-oriented, and enjoys improving processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAPMaintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure audit-ready financial records
• Assist with technical accounting research and the application of accounting guidance
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed
• Partner cross-functionally with teams across the organization to resolve accounting matters and improve financial processes
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen internal controls, and improve accounting operations
• Assist with accounting system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Participate in special projects and other finance initiatives as the company continues to grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, and audit support
• Demonstrated technical accounting aptitude
• Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify efficiencies and implement best practices
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and desire for continued career growth
• Experience working in progressive, growth-oriented companies or serving similar clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience
• Healthcare technology, SaaS, or other high-growth industry experience
