Fund Accounting Manager

A leading global asset manager is looking for a Fund Accounting professional to join its Operations team in London. This is a high-visibility role providing valuation, NAV, and fund accounting expertise across a broad and complex fund range — including UK OEICs, Luxembourg SICAVs, Irish UCITS, Investment Trusts, and Hedge Funds.

You'll act as a subject matter expert and go-to person for fund product change activity, working closely with stakeholders across the business while leading and supporting team members through complex, high-impact processes.

Key Responsibilities &

Duties

• Oversee valuation and NAV processes for fund launches, closures, mergers, and restructures
• Coordinate and lead product change activity across fund operations
• Analyse new and evolving regulatory requirements and assess the impact on the team
• Manage large redemption processes, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of investors
• Apply and monitor the effectiveness of the Swing Pricing Policy
• Investigate and resolve complex NAV issues and respond to external queries
• Test and implement performance fee models
• Manage balance sheet and P&L analysis

The role requires

• Extensive fund accounting and NAV experience gained within asset management or fund administration
• Strong working knowledge of swing pricing, fair value pricing mechanisms, and performance fee structures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound independent judgement
• A proactive, confident communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong Excel skills
• Relevant industry qualification (IAQ, IMC, or CFA)
• Experience overseeing third-party fund administrators/providers
