New Leaf Search is partnering with a European organisation providing business-to-business lease finance for digital services in its search for a Business Development Manager, Public Sector IT Financing.

Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, London (Hybrid).

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within the UK Public Sector by delivering innovative technology finance, leasing, subscription and as-a-Service solutions.

The successful candidate will develop new business across central and local government, healthcare, education, emergency services and other public sector organisations. Success in this role will come from identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships and winning competitive tenders through public sector procurement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of Public Sector customers investing in technology and digital transformation
• Generate new business opportunities across government, NHS, education, local authorities and wider public sector organisations
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers, procurement teams and key stakeholders
• Develop strategic partnerships with technology vendors, framework providers and channel partners
• Identify and pursue opportunities through public sector procurement frameworks and tender portals
• Lead and coordinate tender responses, framework call-offs and contract negotiations
• Structure technology finance, leasing and subscription-based funding solutions
• Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver accurate sales forecasting
• Achieve revenue, margin and business growth objectives
• Collaborate with commercial, legal and operational teams to deliver successful customer outcomes

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record of winning new business within the UK Public Sector
• Experience selling technology finance, asset finance, leasing or digital solutions
• Strong knowledge of Public Sector procurement frameworks including CCS, G-Cloud, NHS SBS and Digital Marketplace
• Experience leading successful ITT, framework and tender submissions from qualification through to contract award
• Excellent commercial, financial and negotiation skills
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities
• Self-motivated with a proven hunter mentality
• Existing network of Public Sector contacts highly desirable

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services, particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing. Relevant IN-COUNTRY experience is required; applications without it will not be considered.
