About the Opportunity

Our client, a rapidly growing boutique advisory firm is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to lead a team supporting a portfolio of client engagements.

This is a unique leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting or finance professional who enjoys combining accounting, client relationship management, operations, and process improvement. In this role, you'll lead a team responsible for delivering accounting and operational support to multiple clients while serving as a trusted advisor and primary relationship manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team supporting a portfolio of client engagements.
• Oversee the delivery of accounting services for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, quality, and exceptional client service.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Coordinate budgets, financial reporting, board meetings, bond administration, compliance activities, and other recurring client deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen client service.
• Partner with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and support the continued growth of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Progressive accounting or finance experience with prior leadership responsibility.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence.
• CPA designation or public accounting experience is a plus but not required.
