About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Export Logistics Manager to lead compliant and efficient international shipping operations. This role is responsible for managing export execution, documentation accuracy, trade compliance requirements, broker and freight forwarder relationships, and shipment release controls for high-value technology products. This is a hybrid role, 3 days onsite in the Burlingame area, CA.

Responsibilities

• Manage export shipments across air, ocean, and ground transportation modes.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, sanctions screening, customs requirements, and customer-specific shipping requirements.
• Review and validate export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, export declarations, and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with Trade Compliance, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, carriers, brokers, and customers to resolve shipment and compliance issues.
• Maintain audit-ready records and support continuous improvement initiatives through KPI reporting and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Trade Compliance, Operations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in export logistics, global shipping, freight forwarding, customs documentation, or trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of export controls, sanctions screening, HTS/ECCN classifications, customs regulations, and international shipping requirements.
• Experience supporting complex international logistics programs and high-value technology products.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills

• Experience with Oracle, WMS, TMS, Salesforce, Power BI, and advanced Excel.

Preferred Skills

• Export compliance, customs compliance, IATA/DG, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP certifications.
• Experience managing brokers, freight forwarders, and international shipping partners.

The salary for this role starts at $175,000
