Thermomix USA is seeking an experienced and inspiring Sales Director to lead our national direct-selling field organization and drive sustainable growth. This is a high-impact senior leadership role with responsibility for sales performance, network development, field excellence, and people leadership across the U.S.

Reporting to the CEO, you will shape and execute the national sales strategy in line with country strategic priorities, strengthen and expand the direct sales network, and contribute directly to profitable business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Finance, Legal, Operations, Customer Service, and People and Culture.

This role requires a leader who can operate confidently in the boardroom, build credibility across the organization, and inspire large field audiences with energy and authenticity.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Performance

• Contribute to the sales strategy, marketing plan, and annual budget process
• Define sales force planning and geographic expansion priorities
• Establish and track KPIs, sales budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor business performance and implement action plans to address deviations
• Support strong bottom-up and top-down communication across the sales organization
• Contribute to product and brand positioning in direct sales together with Marketing and other functions
• Help drive customer satisfaction improvement initiatives
• Monitor sales-related risks and implement corrective actions where needed

Field Leadership & Network Development

• Lead a national direct-selling field organization with visible, hands-on leadership
• Personally recruit, develop, and strengthen large leader networks
• Build and scale a high-performing field structure that supports long-term growth
• Coordinate the implementation of sales methods, tools, and processes to support expansion
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for geographic and network growth
• Organize regular alignment with area and branch managers to share best practices and define action plans
• Partner with Marketing on seminars, events, and initiatives that strengthen brand perception and field engagement

Leadership & Execution

• Drive achievement of sales targets and operational priorities
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and KPI follow-up
• Lead change management initiatives related to the country sales strategy
• Ensure consistent application of sales methods and processes in the field
• Set clear performance objectives for direct reports and support delivery through focused action plans
• Gather field feedback and translate it into recommendations for sales and marketing development
• Work with country experts to define and evaluate incentives, commissions, and recognition systems
• Represent the sales organization effectively at executive level while inspiring large audiences in the field

People Leadership & Development

• Play a key role in performance management, talent development, succession planning, and capability building
• Help standardize roles, accountabilities, training concepts, and career paths
• Ensure strong onboarding and development support for area managers
• Build a motivating, trust-based, and high-performing team culture
• Lead with high emotional intelligence and strong coaching capability
• Act as a role model for company values, leadership, and transparent communication

Qualifications

• Significant experience in direct sales and sales leadership
• Proven success leading a national direct-selling field organization
• Demonstrated track record of personally recruiting and developing large leader networks
• Strong executive presence with the ability to operate credibly at senior leadership level and inspire large audiences on stage
• High emotional intelligence and a strong coaching and people development mindset
• Proven leadership, change management, and communication skills
• Strong understanding of commercial strategy, business performance, and organizational development
• Strong knowledge of market dynamics, regional realities, and relevant consumer trends

Preferred Background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in direct sales, including at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Experience managing large geographic areas and distributed teams
