Program/Project Manager - Functional

We are seeking an experienced Functional PMO professional to support project governance, delivery oversight, stakeholder management, reporting, planning, and financial tracking across a portfolio of business and technology initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, budget, and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• PMO Governance & Reporting
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, and governance documentation.
• Prepare weekly and monthly portfolio status reports for leadership teams.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Ensure compliance with organizational PMO standards and methodologies.
• Stakeholder & Portfolio Management
• Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and project meetings.
• Engage with business and technology stakeholders to gather updates and manage reporting requirements.
• Support project prioritization and portfolio planning activities.
• Financial & Resource Management
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and actual spend.
• Track resource allocation, utilization, and capacity planning.
• Assist with project business cases and financial reviews.
• Risk & Issue Management
• Maintain RAID registers.
• Track mitigation plans and escalate risks when required.
• Ensure delivery risks and dependencies are effectively managed.
• Process Improvement
• Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes and reporting frameworks.
• Standardize templates, dashboards, and governance practices across projects.
• Required Skills & Experience5+ years of PMO, Project Coordination, or Project Support experience.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
• Experience supporting large-scale business transformation, technology, or digital projects.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting).
• Strong PowerPoint and executive reporting capability.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Clarity, Planview, or Smartsheet.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
