The Senior Project Manager at Rogers-O'Brien Construction plays a crucial role in providing on-site direction for all aspects of construction projects. This position involves managing project costs to ensure completion within budget expectations while developing schedules in critical path steps to meet deadlines.

The role requires overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, along with technical direction to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Additionally, the Senior Project Manager leads and develops the project staff, ensuring that projects meet or exceed customer expectations.

This role is instrumental in maintaining and developing client relationships, taking the business development lead when necessary, and assembling RFQs and RFPs. Successful execution of these responsibilities ensures the company's continued reputation for excellence in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site direction for all construction aspects to ensure project success and compliance with standards
• Manage project costs to complete projects within budget and optimize corporate profitability
• Develop and implement project schedules in critical path steps to ensure timely completion
• Lead project teams, ensuring satisfaction and optimal performance towards project goals
• Oversee safety monitoring to guarantee a safe work environment for all project participants
• Facilitate project closeout processes, incorporating lessons learned for continuous improvement
• Engage in strategic planning to align projects with Rogers-O'Brien Construction's future vision and market reputation

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in the field of Construction Science or Engineering are preferred, however not required
• 8-10 years of experience in ground up commercial construction, ground up experience in High Rise, Multifamily, Hotel or Office
• Experience with scheduling software as Primavera & Procore is preferred
• Experience on projects that utilized technologies such as digital plan rooms, BIM or laser scanning
• Preconstruction leadership on potential or negotiated projects
