Title: Program Manager - Stroke

Job Description

Will develop, manage and lead strategies for the overall system wide operations of the Comprehensive Stroke Program. Responsible for the development, communication and implementation of a strategic growth plan. Responsible for driving performance through data-driven approach and quality improvement programs that align with the organizational and program goals.

Will be responsible for communicating the strategic vision, scope and goals of the program through interdisciplinary committees. The Stroke Manager will work with key stakeholders to lead quality, safety and education to enhance the care of the stroke patient and exceed national quality benchmarks.

Education

Master’s degree in related field of work required

Certification in Neuroscience (CNRN) preferred

3-5 years' of related experience

Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred

DC RN License Required.

Skills

Strong knowledge of clinical processes and operations in the healthcare system.

Strong leadership and project management skills, proficiency in operations analysis and quality management

Strong analytical skills to perform data analysis, review statistical reports and identifying data needs

Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of licensure regulations, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization and state/federal standards

Knowledge of Performance Improvement methodology and outcomes management

Demonstrate problem solving, data assembly and action planning ability leading to the development of action plans that will achieve measurable objectives

Ability to organize, formulate, educate and facilitate problem solving teams

Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
