Business & Product Development Manager

This position is on-site in Vernon, CA - (not a hybrid or remote position) MUST HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND IN THE APPAREL INDUSTRY ( PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT ) We are a leading manufacturer of labels & trims for the apparel and footwear industries. We are currently seeking to hire an additional full time *Business & Product Development Manager *to join our team in Los Angeles.

We are looking for an experienced sales & product professional that has contacts into retailers and brands that require labels, tags, polybags, courier bags or corrugated boxes. We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible. Base salary + commission on new business.

Responsibilities

• Daily communication with global production offices * Prepare sales orders, track production, and monitor delivery status to ensure on-time delivery. * Initiate and track samples, material requests, and approvals. * Responsible for follow-up on all product specifications, quality standards, lab dips, testing sample deadlines, and deliveries. * Process all data entry into CRM and ERP system. Job Requirements & Qualifications * Academic background in fashion or packaging is a plus * Background in sustainability is a plus * Self-starter with ability to function independently as well as in a team-based environment. * Excellent written & communication skills and necessary follow through. * Great attention to details and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills. * Seeking a person with the desire to learn and grow with the company. * This job description is not intended to be exhaustive.
