Specialized Recruiting Group is partnering with a growing, nationally backed insurance brokerage to hire an experienced Employee Benefits Account Executive for their Denver office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an employee benefits professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, developing strategic benefit solutions, and serving as a trusted advisor, without the pressure of carrying a sales quota.

You'll work alongside a dedicated team that includes a Benefits Analyst and Benefits Advocate, allowing you to focus on client strategy while still delivering exceptional service.

What You'll Do

As an Employee Benefits Account Executive, you'll serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of employer groups while partnering with internal team members to provide strategic benefits solutions.

Responsibilities include

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with employee benefits clients
• Lead annual renewal strategy and planning meetings
• Develop benefit plan recommendations based on client goals and market trends
• Coordinate the renewal process from strategy through implementation
• Present renewal recommendations and conduct open enrollment meetings
• Review claims reporting and identify opportunities for cost containment
• Provide guidance on compliance, wellness initiatives, and employee communication
• Collaborate closely with Benefit Analysts and Benefit Advocates to deliver outstanding client service
• Attend client meetings, educational seminars, and networking events throughout the year
• Help clients navigate funding strategies including fully insured, level-funded, captive, and self-funded plans.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Employee Benefits consulting, account management, or a client-facing insurance role
• Active Colorado Life & Health Insurance License required
• Strong understanding of employee benefits products and funding arrangements
• Experience with fully insured, level-funded, self-funded, captive, ICHRA, or PEO programs preferred
• Comfortable presenting to executive leadership and large employee groups
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills
• Strategic, consultative mindset with a proactive approach to client management.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Up to $105,000 depending on experience
