MyGarageFloors.com is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Sales / Business Development Manager to develop and grow our commercial floor coating division throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth market.

This is not an entry-level sales position. We are looking for an established commercial sales professional with a proven track record and, most importantly, existing relationships and connections within the commercial construction and facility-management industries.

The Role

You will be responsible for identifying, developing, bidding, and closing commercial floor coating projects for facilities requiring durable concrete floor coating systems.

Target customers and projects may include

• General contractors and commercial builders
• Property and facility management companies
• Warehouses and distribution centers
• Manufacturing and industrial facilities
• Automotive dealerships and service centers
• Commercial garages and parking facilities
• Retail and commercial properties
• Restaurants and commercial kitchens
• Schools and educational facilities
• Municipal and government facilities
• Healthcare and medical facilities
• Gyms and recreational facilities
• Any commercial or industrial facility requiring concrete floor coatings

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate must have

• Existing relationships with general contractors, builders, facility managers, property managers, developers, architects, or other commercial decision-makers
• A proven track record of generating and closing commercial construction or flooring projects
• Experience developing business through an established professional network
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building abilities
• Experience working with commercial bids, proposals, plans, and project specifications
• Ability to develop opportunities from initial contact through signed contract
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to work independently and aggressively develop new commercial accounts
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills

Experience selling commercial flooring, concrete coatings, epoxy/polyaspartic systems, polished concrete, construction services, or related commercial building products is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

The Commercial Sales / Business Development Manager will

• Use existing industry relationships to generate commercial opportunities
• Build relationships with general contractors, facility managers, property managers, developers, and commercial property owners
• Identify upcoming projects requiring floor coating systems
• Get MyGarageFloors.com added to contractor and vendor bid lists
• Perform outreach and follow up on commercial leads
• Conduct site visits and evaluate potential projects
• Coordinate measurements, scopes of work, pricing, and proposals
• Prepare and follow up on commercial bids
• Negotiate and close contracts
• Maintain relationships with customers for repeat projects
• Develop long-term commercial accounts and referral relationships
• Maintain an active pipeline of commercial opportunities

This position offers significant earning potential for a salesperson who already has strong commercial-industry relationships and can consistently bring qualified projects to the company.
