What You'll Be Doing

• Business Development & Prospecting
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and outbound outreach
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers
• Generate new business through calls, emails, social media engagement, referrals, and industry events
• Client Engagement & Relationship Building
• Establish and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and business objectives
• Introduce additional products and services to support account growth and customer retention
• Consultative Sales
• Assess customer requirements and recommend tailored packaging solutions
• Clearly communicate product capabilities, benefits, and value propositions
• Guide prospects through the sales process from initial engagement through to closing.

Territory & Market ManagementManage and grow business throughout the Tri-State market.

• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive actively
• Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to increase penetration within target accounts
• Sales Operations & Collaboration
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting within CRM platforms
• Track leads, customer interactions, and sales progress.

Partner with marketing and sales leadership to align outreach efforts and maximize lead conversionProvide regular updates on pipeline health, forecasts, and business development activities.

What We're Looking For

Required

3+ years of sales, business development, or client-facing experienceStrong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Proven ability to generate opportunities and develop new business.

Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools.

Ability to understand technical products and communicate solutions effectivelyHelpful but Not Required.

• Experience within packaging, manufacturing, industrial products, or related industries
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related
• Experience managing a geographic sales territory
• Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling environments
