About the Role

The Director of Digital Marketing Growth & Customer Acquisition will lead all paid and organic digital marketing efforts for Big Think Capital, driving brand awareness and new customer acquisition. This role owns the strategy, execution, and optimization of digital advertising, email marketing, SEM, and social media campaigns — with a strong emphasis on measurable, ROI-driven results in a financial services context.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a self-starter who thrives on turning data into action, testing creative approaches, and solving problems in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall digital marketing and customer acquisition strategy for Big Think Capital, aligned with company growth goals
• Plan, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns (running ads directly for Big Think Capital) across search, social, and display channels
• Own search engine marketing (SEM) strategy, including keyword strategy, bid management, and budget optimization
• Lead social media marketing efforts to build brand awareness and engage target audiences
• Design, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns and nurture sequences to drive engagement and conversion
• Build and monitor performance dashboards; use data and analytics to continuously test, measure, and improve campaign performance
• Set clear, measurable goals (CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, pipeline growth) and report regularly on performance against targets
• Identify and test new channels, creative approaches, and audience segments to drive efficient customer acquisition
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, creative, and leadership teams to ensure marketing efforts support broader business objectives
• Manage marketing budget allocation across channels to maximize return on investment
• Stay current on financial services marketing trends, compliance considerations, and competitive landscape

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong preference for candidates with financial services / fintech digital marketing experience
• Proven track record running paid advertising campaigns with measurable results
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and campaign management
• Strong working knowledge of search engine marketing (SEM/PPC) and social media advertising
• Demonstrated ability to build brand awareness while driving new customer acquisition
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills — comfortable working with performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Creative problem-solver who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
