HR Manager

PeerSource is currently recruiting for an HR Manager on a Direct Hire basis. This role is onsite based out of Englewood, CO.

Summary

We are seeking an HR Manager to support the full employee lifecycle across a growing, entrepreneurial organization. This role partners closely with employees and leaders on recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, and culture initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a confident, adaptable HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working independently while wearing many hats.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, candidate screening, onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HR documentation.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies, benefits, leave administration, performance management, and employee relations matters.
• Assist with employee investigations, disciplinary processes, documentation, and policy interpretation while maintaining confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Administer benefits programs, coordinate annual open enrollment, and support employees with benefits-related questions throughout the year.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve HR processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to drive operational efficiency and consistency.
• Coordinate employee performance review cycles and support leaders with performance management activities.
• Help foster a positive employee experience by organizing engagement initiatives, team-building events, internal communications, and culture-focused programs.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ensure compliance with employment regulations, and support a variety of HR initiatives as business priorities evolve.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience supporting multiple HR functions, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and onboarding.
• Experience handling confidential employee matters with sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion.
• Strong working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience using HRIS systems; familiarity with Paychex or similar HR platforms is preferred.
• Highly adaptable with the ability to prioritize changing workloads, work independently, and confidently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively with employees at all levels, and appropriately balance empathy with accountability.
• Ability to travel 1-2x/year would be a nice to have.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of multi-site and multi-state compliance is ideal.
• Experience supporting warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations-based workforces is a plus. Event-planning experience and passion a plus.

Salary range

$80,000 - $110,000
