About The Role

A proactive, hands-on Human Resources Manager who combines empathy with sound judgement, structure with creativity, and strategic thinking with a strong bias for action. You will champion colleague well-being, strengthen our culture, and confidently turn ideas into practical, measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hotel leadership and department heads to translate business priorities into practical people strategies and workforce plans.
• Lead the full colleague lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, associate relations, performance management, development, engagement and offboarding.
• Provide trusted, balanced and timely advice on associate matters while ensuring compliance with Singapore employment legislation, internal policies and Hyatt standards.
• Drive colleague engagement, recognition, wellness and culture-building initiatives that create an inclusive, high-performing workplace.
• Assist to oversee HR operations, records management and accurate reporting.
• Manage work pass and visa applications efficiently, maintaining full documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Use HR data, trends and feedback to identify opportunities, recommend solutions and track the impact of people initiatives.
• Support organisational change, manpower planning, succession planning and the development of emerging talent.
• Continuously improve HR processes and colleague experiences through technology, simplification and fresh ideas.
• Be visible, approachable and willing to roll up your sleeves - taking ownership, removing obstacles and following through to completion.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience as an Assistant Human Resources Manager, or two years’ experience as Human Resources Manager; hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore’s Employment Act and related local employment regulations.
• Proven competence in work pass and visa applications, HR administration and end-to-end HR operations.
• Practical experience in associate engagement activities and colleague communications.
• Familiarity with Time
• Soft software is required; confidence with HRIS, Microsoft Office and data reporting is highly valued.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect credibly across all levels.
• Strong organisation, discretion, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
