Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Business Development / Sales executive to secure new client partnerships and expand existing accounts within the Greater Boston Accounting & Finance sector. You will hunt for new business, build executive-level relationships, and collaborate with our recruitment team to deliver top-tier staffing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Revenue: Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within corporate accounting and finance departments across Greater Boston.
• Client Advisory: Meet with CFOs, Controllers, and HR leaders to understand their hiring challenges and pitch tailored contract, contingent, and executive search solutions.
• Account Management: Nurture and expand existing client relationships to maximize market share and ensure high retention.
• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of local economic trends, hiring patterns, and competitor activity in the New England financial sector.
• Team Collaboration: Partner closely with internal recruiters to ensure alignment on client job orders, skill requirements, and company culture.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience, specifically within the staffing and recruitment industry. Experience within either General & Administrative and/or Accounting & Finance
• Domain Knowledge: Proven track record selling Accounting & Finance staffing solutions in the Greater Boston market is highly preferred.
• Network: Active, existing network of corporate finance professionals and hiring managers in New England.
• Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills at the C-suite level.
• Drive: Self-motivated, metrics-driven hunter mentality with a passion for winning business.
