Role Description

The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site position located in Manhattan, NY, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role manages staff scheduling, training, performance, and engagement to maintain high service and quality standards.

The Store Manager monitors product quality, inventory levels, ordering, and cash handling procedures to support accurate and efficient operations. Additional responsibilities include implementing retail loss prevention practices, maintaining a clean and safe environment, analyzing sales performance, and executing local marketing initiatives in line with brand guidelines.

The Store Manager also serves as the primary contact for resolving customer concerns and collaborating with leadership on process improvements.

Pay Range

23-26/hr

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality experiences.
• Effective Communication skills for guiding teams, collaborating with leadership, and interacting with guests in a clear and respectful manner.
• Proven Store Management experience, including staffing, scheduling, inventory oversight, and daily retail operations.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrink, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate cash and inventory controls.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, including coaching, performance management, and fostering an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard office software for reporting and communication.
• Experience in coffee, food service, or specialty retail is preferred; supervisory experience strongly beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
