Epic Implementation Project Manager

Position Summary

The Technical Project Manager IIII leads large, complex technology projects and programs across the organization. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing project scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables from initiation through completion.

The position partners with clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes that align with organizational priorities.

The incumbent establishes project governance, reporting, and risk management processes while managing multiple concurrent initiatives. This role requires the ability to direct vendors, engineers, design and construction teams, and other project participants to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications

• EPIC PM experience required
• 5 to 7 years of project management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare industry experience.
• Experience managing technology related initiatives.
• Ability to anticipate obstacles and develop contingency plans.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
• Experience selecting and implementing project management methodologies.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced organizational and project management capabilities.
• Experience tracking project budgets, schedules, metrics, and resources.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Experience leading teams of technology professionals.
• Ability to integrate information across disciplines and align projects with business strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of computing and communications infrastructure, networking, software operations, and disaster recovery.
• Experience working with Epic applications.
• PMP Certification from PMI.
• Epic Certification in one or more Clinical or Revenue Cycle applications.
