Assistant Project Manager

GMA Construction Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager. The ideal candidate has a degree in Construction Management or a similar field and at least 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The Assistant Project Manager will support our Project Manager and other departments as needed to deliver projects on schedule, within the budget, and to the quality of workmanship specified.
• Essential job duties include:
• Assist Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
• Assist Project Manager with accurate budget management (buy-out, pay applications, cost reporting, etc.)
• Change order management
• Manage and develop project engineers, overseeing RFIs and submittals
• Manage critical subcontractors
• Issue resolution related to labor disputes, material deliveries, and contract administration
• Safety and quality control management
• Manage construction equipment
