Junior Developer

• Overview
• We are seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join our Healthcare IT team.
• The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining healthcare applications that support patient care, clinical workflows, electronic health records (EHR), and healthcare operations.
• This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills while working in a regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web and desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and healthcare stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
• Assist in integrating healthcare systems using APIs, HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries.
• Perform unit testing and support system testing activities.
• Participate in code reviews and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, security, and data privacy standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.0-2 years of experience in software development (internship experience acceptable).
• Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or Blazor.
• Exposure to healthcare applications, EHR/EMR systems, HL7, or FHIR standards.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control tools.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
