Job Summary

Customer is seeking a Payments Technology Manager / Payments Application Manager to lead the support, stability, modernization, and continuous improvement of critical payment platforms. This role will be responsible for driving mission-critical payment systems supporting domestic, international, instant, and digital asset payments.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership

• Manage and support enterprise payment applications and integrations.
• Lead a global 24x7 operations team supporting business-critical payment systems.
• Participate in leadership escalation management and on-call rotations for major incidents and production outages.
• Provide after-hours operational leadership support for critical customer-impacting events.
• Oversee application releases, change management, production deployments, and disaster recovery testing.
• Establish monitoring, observability, and proactive issue detection capabilities.
• Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, audit, and regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, payment operations, vendors, and technology teams.
• Communicate application health, risks, incidents, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with payment networks, vendors, and clearing organizations.
