The Minnesota State Lottery is seeking a talented supervisor in our Information Technology (IT) department. The position is responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of all Minnesota Lottery hardware infrastructure, network and desktop systems.
The position is responsible for assisting in the creation and development of hardware and software purchases and budgets, security, network, and disaster recovery plans, policies and procedures. The incumbent in this position will lead a team of infrastructure engineers and technicians, providing guidance, monitorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with managing and troubleshooting complex infrastructure systems, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Main Duties IncludeManage network architects and engineers, cloud architects/engineers and systems engineers to ensure all infrastructure related tasks are completed timely and accurately.
Responsible for planning and budget of $2M and strategic planning.
Lead the development and implementation of an Infrastructure that meets agency needs, Aware of current technology threats and Cybersecurity best practices to protect against penetration.
Developing a Cloud migration road map.
Develop policies and procedures for Infrastructure; recommend systems controls and security measures.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely mannerManage vendor relationships critical to Minnesota State Lottery (MSL) Infrastructure environment.
Miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned.
